Peru
Inversion's first global partnership was established with the Christian Missionary Alliance church in Comas, Peru. Although the affiliation is but a few years old the bonds between us seem like a relationship built over many years. There are no cookie cutters used to plan the trips, no assembly line approach to our annual times together. The trip taken each year by some from the Inversion body is not for us nor for them. Our partnership exists that God's will be fulfilled by the joint venture of the two working as one.
In our weakness, we find their strength. In our strength we provide for their shortfall. It is a relationship of mutual edification and encouragement. As partners in a global ministry Inversion and the church in Comas will continue to seek God's will for Peru and work together to see that will accomplished. A partnership? Yeah, you could call it that, but anyone who has been would be much more inclined to use the word friendship.
We are taking applications now for this year's Peru trip! The trip will be in mid-May and lasts from Saturday to the next Sunday. You'll only need one week away from work in order to participate. This year, instead of visiting the Comas church, we will be working with a sister church closer to Lima. We are very excited to launch this new partnership! Possible work includes wrking in their church and school teaching art and drama to children, assisting with ongoing mission work in areas outside Lima and other work projects. Sign up online here by March 23rd.
